My Lord Duke,

I have the honour to report that I have granted Chief Detective Inspector William Murison, Hongkong Police, a pension at the rate of £400 per anma with effect from the 2nd October, 1923, and that the Crown Agents for the Colonies have been instructed to issue payments to him as they become due.

Chief Detective Inspector Murison has been granted five months' leave of absence, commencing on the 2nd May, 1923, prior to retirement which has been reported

in my despatch No.144 of 27th April, 1923.
